Dear P W Robinson,

I am writing you in response to your California Public Records request.

You requested records/documents of "the cause and manner of death of homeless residents in Ventura County for the last two years." Our office does not maintain specific records concerning the cause and manner of death of homeless residents in our county. Although we may prosecute cases wherein a homeless person was killed (in those cases the manner of death would likely be homicide or accident as determined by the Medical Examiner), we do not track these cases by the domicile status of the victim. I would encourage you to reach out to the Ventura County Medical Examiner's Office who may have the information you are seeking.

Sincerely,
Kevin Drescher
