My name is Mrutyumjai Kamana and I am an H1B visa holder. I was offered a new job and my employer filed I-129 petition with USCIS on May 20th, 2016 and I have started working from June 1st, 2016. I have received the receipt number for the petition which is, EAC1617551272.

I haven't received any updates after that and I have travel plans to my home country coming up in the month of September, 2016. Is there an expected date when I can receive an update on my case?

Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 20 business days, as the statute requires.
