Pursuant to the Freedom of Information Act, I hereby request the following records:

Press inquiries and any responses from the years 1997-2002 containing two or more of the following terms

* Hungary
* 1956
* logistical support
* Daniel Hill
* James Stewart

Re: James Stewart's claim in Heart of a Soldier (p.208) "a spokesman for the Special Forces acknowledged that the army did engage in top secret logistical support for the Hungarians against the Soviets"

The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.

In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.

You FOIA request is too broad for us to conduct a reasonable search for records. Furthermore, not sure if anyone would have anything response for the time period mentioned (well beyond most record disposition/destruction date).
