All emails sent and/or received by The Secretary of Homeland Security Alejandro Mayorkas (https://www.dhs.gov/person/alejandro-mayorkas) from February 2nd, 2021 to December 31st, 2022 containing/mentioning any of the following terms/strings:
- Ecuador
- Ecuadorian
- Guillermo Lasso
- China
- Apprehensions
- Menendez
Responsive records should include email metadata (sender address, receiver address, time-stamps, etc.), the email subject, the body of the email, and any/all documents attached to each respective email sent/received.
The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.
In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.

Good Afternoon, The Prograrm Office that we tasked regarding your FOIA Request wanted us to reach out you to see if you'd be willing to narrow your request. The OCIO search came back with a voluminous search (2.3 GB.) as the terms used were not conjuctive. Instead of using OR for the Boolean search perhaps you could use conjuctive terms.
