Pursuant to the Freedom of Information Act, I hereby request the following
records:

All "retention memos" sent by the Office of Civil Rights Civil Liberties to
Department of Homeland Security components, including, but not limited to,
Immigration and Customs Enforcement, Customs and Border Protection, and U.S.
Citizenship and Immigration Services, in Fiscal Year 2019.

Per the complaint resolution process, DHS CRCL sends out "retention memos" to
relevant sub-agencies, when it decides to open investigations into the
complaints. (See:

I would like a copy of all such memos sent by the CRCL staff notifying
agencies of the investigation in FY 2019.

The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and
this request is not being made for commercial purposes.

In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me
of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the
request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if
not.

Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look
