Mr. Morisy,

We estimate that you will receive a response from us no later than July 2, 2013. From: FOIAREQUEST

Mr. Morisy,

We have conducted a search and located files which may pertain to you request for records. However, because of the way our system is designed, it does not separate Congressional Committee inquiries from all other inquires and the amount of records are voluminous. To enable us to respond more quickly to you, you may wish to reformulate your request to a specific topic or Congressional Committee that you are interested in. This may help reduce the amount of time required to complete our consultation, if needed, and the review of these records.

From: Michael Morisy

Could you send me an estimate of the amount of documents? And do any existing categories or designations exist that you could send over to help narrow the request?

Thanks,
Michael

From: FOIAREQUEST

Michael,

We are unable to give an estimate of the amount of documents since it's not designed to separate the inquiries into any different fields or categories. You are specifically requesting our Agency's responses to Congressional Committee inquiries and unfortunately, the system does not differentiate one type of inquiry from another. However, with that said, if you were to narrow down your search by Congressional Committee or topic, we can keep an eye out for what it is you're looking for specifically and possibly cut back on search time.
