To Whom It May Concern:

Pursuant to the Freedom of Information Act, I hereby request the following records:

Request.

1.1 The Request pertains is limited to the following individuals:
1a. United States Senator Marsha Blackburn (R-Tn.);
1b. United States Senator Lamar Alexander (R-Tn.);
1.2 All electronic correspondences from October 7, 2018 – Present Day sent to or from a member of the Agency containing the keywords: Taylor Swift, Tay Swift and TaylorSwift (no space).

If any potentially responsive records have been destroyed and/or transferred to NARA, then we request copies of the destruction or transfer slips as well as any other documentation relating to, mentioning or describing said transfer or destruction, to include but not be limited to confirmation that the Agency has no other copies of said records.

If previously released records are available, then we request a rolling release consisting of those records while additional records are located and processed for release.

Pursuant to 5 U.S.C. §552 (a)(b)(E)(v)(II), Original Media has a compelling need for the requested records. American Media kindly requests a fee waiver as it is a representative of the news media. Pursuant to the statute: “Documents shall be furnished without any charge or at [a] reduced rate … If the disclosure of the information is in the public interest because it is [2] likely to contribute [4] significantly to [3] public understanding of the [1] operations or activities or the government and is not [6] primarily in the [5] commercial interest of the requester.”

If this request is unclear, we ask that you contact us for clarification rather than denying our request outright. We further ask that if certain information cannot be shared that you fulfill our request in part rather than denying it in full, and explain the reason including the legal basis for withholding any information.

Original Media Group Corporation is a representative of the news media and is primarily engaged in the dissemination of information to the public. The subject matter of Original Media Group Corporation’s request relates to the public’s need to understand and assess for itself the current controversy surrounding several United States Senators from Tennessee and pop-super-star Taylor Swift.

The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.

In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.

Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 20 business days, as the statute requires.

Sincerely,

Nik Hatziefstathiou
