Pursuant to the Freedom of Information Act, I hereby request the following records: Records of the quantity of Cheese and dairy-related products that were inventoried and later distributed by the United States Department of Agriculture through the Temporary Emergency Food Assistant Program from 1970-1990.

The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.

In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.

The Temporary Emergency Food Assistance Program (TEFAP) was first authorized in 1981. The name was changed to The Emergency Food Assistance Program under the 1990 farm bill. Accordingly, we do not have data on the quantity of cheese and dairy-related products distributed from 1970-1990.
