Pursuant to the Freedom of Information Act, I hereby request the following records:

- Any and all teaching materials (including but not limited to course guides, syllabi, handouts, Powerpoints, slide shows, presentations, audio recordings, video recordings, or homework assignments) associated with the training course "Police and Minority Relations."

- Any and all contracts with outside contractors related to the above-referenced training course.

The course was hosted by the New England HIDTA on February 19, 2016 in Methuen, Massachusetts; by the New Mexico HIDTA on December 15, 2016 in Las Cruces, New Mexico; by the New Mexico HIDTA on December 16, 2016 in Albuquerque, New Mexico; and by the Nevada HIDTA in conjunction with PLE Training on June 27, 2016 in Henderson, Nevada. It may have also been taught on other dates.

I request that I be properly classified as a news media requester. I am a reporter for the National Interest, and I am requesting this information in that editorial capacity.

The National Interest is widely recognized for its reporting, publishing regular features on issues of public interest and importance. In addition, I have covered areas related to this request, and plan to use my editorial skills to analyze and produce original reporting work for millions of monthly readers at NationalInterest.org.

The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.
