To Whom It May Concern:

Pursuant to the Freedom of Information Act, I hereby request the following records:

Seeking memos, reports, notes, power presentations and other documents related to cybersecurity audits/testing performed by Idaho National Laboratory about two election technology companies: Democracy Live, Inc. and Voatz. Democracy Live is a Seattle-headquartered cloud-based voting technology vendor. Voatz is a for-profit, private mobile election voting application. Both companies' products have been tested by Idaho National Laboratory to assess their security and functionality. The cybersecurity of election systems is a vitally important topic in the United States following the 2016 Presidential election. Multiple states are considering deploying internet-based voting tools in the years ahead, making the reports important to see.

The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.

In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.

Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 20 business days, as the statute requires.

Sincerely,

Christopher Bing
