Pursuant to the Freedom of Information Act, I hereby request the following records:

Media reports imply that there are documents relevant to the public interest regarding Hurricane Dorian and its probability/improbability of striking Alabama. (https://www.nytimes.com/2019/09/06/us/politics/trump-alabama-dorian.html?module=inline)

Therefore, I hereby request the following documents:

1) All electronic communications—including emails, slack messages, emails, draft statements, and text messages—between the following parties:
- The NWS Birmingham Office and representatives from FEMA mentioning “hurricane” or “Dorian.”
- The NWS Birmingham Office and representatives from the Alabama Office of the Governor.
- The NWS Birmingham Office and representatives from the Office of Alabama's Secretary of State.
- The NWS Birmingham Office and University of Alabama employees (domain: ua.edu) mentioning “hurricane” or “Dorian.”
- The NWS Birmingham Office and representatives from the Alabama Emergency Management Agency.

2) All electronic communications, internal documents, and internal memos related to this tweet:

Please limit the date range for this query between September 1, 2019 and the time that this request is processed. If this date range provides an excessive burden, please limit the date range from September 1 to September 8, 2019.

Good Morning Caroline Haskins,

Thank you for your email. The FOIA request in question is currently being
managed at the NOAA level. Based on the information NWS FOIA Office has
received, there is an additional interim release expected to be release in
the future. Unfortunately, we are not aware of the clearance and release
timeline. As before, an interim release letter will be emailed to you once
the records have been made available.
