To Whom It May Concern:

This is a request for a mandatory declassification review (MDR), under the terms of section 3.5 of E.O. 13526 of the following:

Intelligence gathered by the Treasury's Office of Intelligence and Analysis or predecessor agency (Office of Intelligence Support) to support implementation of sanctions against Slobodan Milosevic authorized by Executive Orders creating the "FRYM" and "BALKANS" list sanctions. Upon information and belief, such intelligence is commonly called a "targeting package." It would be covered under the System of Records "DO .411 Intelligence Enterprise Files."

I request the release of all reasonably segregable material.

Upon information and belief, sanctions programs targeting the former Yugoslavia Milosevic began in 1992 and would likely have concluded with his death in 2006, though I cannot rule out that intelligence gathering continued posthumously.

Hello,

I'd like to follow up on a request for mandatory declassification review (MDR) that I sent to the Office of Intelligence and Analysis, Office of Security Programs. This was sent by postal mail on 3/10/2022.

I sent this request via postal mail to the OIA's Office of Security Programs, but upon further review I notice that FOIA@treasury.gov is used for correspondence even when original requests are by post. I duplicate the request here to try to make sure it does not get lost in the shuffle. Please see below for verbatim language from the letter below my signoff. I appreciate your understanding.
