To Whom It May Concern:
This is a request under the Freedom of Information Act. I hereby request the following records: Any and all NASA records (such as emails, audio recordings, memorandums, and reports) related to the hacking of Landsat-7 and Terra (EOS AM-1) satellites (https://www.theguardian.com/technology/2011/oct/27/chinese-hacking-us-satellites-suspected) as well as any such records dealing with to hacking attempts on the International Space Station (http://www.popsci.com/technology/article/2012-03/hackers-gained-full-functional-control-nasa-networks-stole-control-codes-iss-last-year).
If any of the information herein requested is classified in the interest of national defense or foreign policy, I ask that these portions of the requested documents be redacted and the remaining documentation be provided.
The requested documents will be made available to the general public through the news website Motherboard (motherboard.vice.com), and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.
In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available, or CD-ROM if not.
Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 20 business days, as the statute requires.
