To Whom It May Concern:

Pursuant to the Freedom of Information Act, I hereby request the following records:

A CSV export of your agency's Shared Mailboxes (see https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoft-365/admin/email/about-shared-mailboxes?view=o365-worldwide for more info ) including the following parameters for every shared mailbox:

- Primary SMTP Address
- Date Created

A simple way to retrieve this is by having a member of IT (such as a System Administrator) run the following command in Exchange Online PowerShell (if email is hosted in a Microsoft Exchange environment):

Get-Mailbox -ResultSize Unlimited -RecipientTypeDetails SharedMailbox | Select Name,PrimarySmtpAddress,WhenCreated | Export-CSV -Path .\SharedMailboxes_$((Get-Date).ToString('MM-dd-yyyy_hh-mm-ss')).csv

The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.

In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.

Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 20 business days, as the statute requires.

Sincerely,

J Ader

From: Illinois Emergency Management Agency

You have requested "a CSV export of our Agency's shared mailboxes."

Your request, as it is written, would require IEMA to engage numerous program and IT support to be able to extract from its database in order to complete. IEMA would have to produce, review and potentially redact such a large volume of documents that would require a tremendous expenditure in time and personnel hours. It is the position of the Agency that performing a search and review of this magnitude would place an undue burden on the Agency in that it would require such a commitment of personnel and time as to drastically diminish the Agency's ability to achieve its primary response and regulatory missions. The Agency would request that you narrow and clarify this part of your request to more manageable proportions which may include identifying specific email accounts within the Agency to search and a historical range to search within. IEMA can provide additional guidance regarding your FOIA request, please contact Jonathan England at 217-785-9884 if you would like further assistance in narrowing your request. Thank you for your interest in the Illinois Emergency Management Agency.
