This is a request under the Freedom of Information Act. I hereby request the following records:
A copy of H-1B applications submitted for "fashion model" applicants, per 8 CFR PART 214 -- NONIMMIGRANT CLASSES \ § Sec. 214.2(h) Temporary employee. This regulation can be found at:

The regulations specifically state that these records are approved by the Secretary of Labor.
Please include records generated or processed between 2011 and the date that this request was processed.
I also request that, if appropriate, fees be waived as I believe this request is in the public interest. The requested documents will be made available to the general public free of charge as part of the public information service at MuckRock.com, processed by a representative of the news media/press and is made in the process of news gathering and not for commercial usage.
In the event that fees cannot be waived, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.

Thank you for your recent Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request dated February 5, 2013, to the Department of Labor. Your request was referred to the Office of Foreign Labor Certification on February 8, 2013. Your request was assigned the tracking number noted above and is being processed in ETA's Office of Foreign Labor Certification (OFLC). Please refer to this number in any future correspondence concerning the above referenced subject matter, including the payment of fees which may be assessed pursuant to Department of Labor regulations at 29 Code of Federal Regulations § 70.19(e).
You have been placed in the other category for possible payment of fees. Pursuant to the Department's regulations at 29 CFR § 70.40(c)(4), charges assessed for the production of records for requesters in the other category may be for search, review and reproduction costs. There is no charge for the reproduction of the first 100 pages of material, and a fee of 15 cents per page thereafter. There is no charge for the first two hours of search and/or review time, and a subsequent charge of $5 per quarter hour for clerical search time, and $10 per quarter hour for professional search and/or review time.
It is our goal to respond to requests as quickly as possible, in the order received and within the statutory time frame. Due to the volume of requests received by OFLC however, we ask that you allow 30 days before checking the status of your request at Department of Labor's FOIA Public Portal at: www.dol.gov/foia/FOIASearch.aspx. This status will be updated as the request moves between OFLC and its national processing centers.

Thank you for your recent Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request dated February 5, 2013, to the Department of Labor. Your request was referred to the Office of Foreign Labor Certification on February 8, 2013. Please refer to this number in any future correspondence concerning the above referenced subject matter, including the payment of fees which may be assessed pursuant to Department of Labor regulations at 29 Code of Federal Regulations § 70.19(e).
Your request included limited information to conduct a proper search for responsive documents. In order to conduct a thorough search the description must be sufficiently detailed to permit the identification and location of the requested records with a reasonable amount of effort. So far as practical, the request should specify the subject of the record, the date or approximate date when made, the place where made, the person or office that created it, and any other pertinent identifying details pursuant to the Department's regulation at 29 CFR § 70.19c.
Please provide us with more identifiers such as the employer's name and/or company name, employer's address, filing date, zip code, city or state no later than five business days from the date of this letter. If we do not receive the additional information requested within the time period stated previously our search may result in no documents found response.
If the information requested is received in a timely manner, it is our goal to respond to requests as quickly as possible, in the order received and within the statutory time frame. Thank you for your recent Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request
dated February 5, 2013, which was referred to the Office of Foreign
Labor Certification on February 8, 2013. On February 11, 2013, we sent
you a letter requesting you to submit additional information
sufficiently detailed to permit the identification and location of the
requested records with a reasonable amount of effort. This additional
information was due to us no later than February 19, 2013. As of March
7, 2013, we have not received the requested additional information;
therefore, we are closing this FOIA request.
If you obtain the additional information, you may initiate a new FOIA
request at foiarequest@dol.gov.
We feel that we have been responsive as possible considering the lack of
additional information to conduct a proper search for requested
documents; however, you may file an appeal of this determination with
the Solicitor of Labor within 90 days from the date of this letter. The
appeal must state the grounds for the appeal and should include
supporting statements, arguments, a copy of your initial request, and a
copy of this letter. To facilitate processing, you may fax your appeal
to (202) 693-5523. If mailed, please clearly mark the envelope and
letter of appeal: "Freedom of Information Act Appeal," and address to:
Solicitor of Labor, U.S. Department of Labor, 200 Constitution Avenue,
