This is a request under the Freedom of Information Act. I hereby request the following records:

All communications between the Ex-Im Bank Board of Directors, Officers, Advisory Committee, and Sub-Saharan Africa Advisory Committee containing "Abengoa" between November 2012 and the date of this request.

I also request that, if appropriate, fees be waived as I believe this request is in the public interest. The requested documents will be made available to the general public free of charge as part of the public information service at MuckRock.com, processed by a representative of the news media/press and is made in the process of news gathering and not for commercial usage.

In the event that fees cannot be waived, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.

Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 20 business days, as the statute requires.

Good afternoon, Ms./Mr. Ciaramella! (Can you tell me if you are a lady or a gentleman?)

Thank you for your request! You mentioned that your correspondence was a "follow up to a previous request", but we have checked our FOIA Log and past E-Mails and have not received a previous request from you or anyone else asking about "Abangoa".

In order to facilitate our search, could you please tell me what type of information you are seeking? The request is somewhat broad and we will need additional information before we can begin our search. Can you tell me what "Abangoa" refers to? Are you looking for information about a specific Ex-Im Bank transaction? There are over 30 FOIA requests ahead of this one in our queue and, as you may be aware, the FOIA statute requires Federal Agencies to process requests in the order in which they are received. However, if you are able to narrow the scope of your request or clarify exactly what you are looking for or what you are trying to find out, we may be able to put this request on the faster "track". I would be happy to give you a call to discuss if you would provide me with a phone number.
