This is a request under the Freedom of Information Act. I hereby request the following records:
Emails to and from the company Energy Transfer Partners, which has a domain of @EnergyTransfer.com from the date 4/1/16 to the date this request is processed. Any address with the domain @EnergyTransfer.com is valid for this request, no matter what rank in the company they are.
As a member of the news media who has been published nationally by Motherboard, DeSmogBlog, and MuckRock tens of times, I respectfully ask for a fee waiver for this request. A link to my work for Motherboard can be found here: https://motherboard.vice.com/en_us/contributor/curtis-waltman
The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.
In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.

You can always refile this request and after FERC processes your request, if they have responsive documents, you may be better able to decide on program offices within DOE you would like searched or search terms.
