This is a request under the Freedom of Information Act. I hereby request the following records:
I would like to obtain that last 200 pages of emails sent to, from, or copied to the two following email accounts:
(1) AFELOhollywood@gmail.com
(2) saf.pacl.org@losangeles.af.mil
In addition, I am asking for all “Request for DoD Production Assistance” questionnaires submitted to the U.S. Air Force between January 2001 and December 2018.
I am a doctoral student at the Annenberg School for Communication at the University of Pennsylvania, where I research the ongoing relationship between Hollywood and the U.S. Armed Forces. I have presented and written on military communication at a number of places, including Harvard Law School, Trinity College, the International Communication Association, and elsewhere. I have written on the Department of Defense extensively, including for Slate. As an academic, I am requesting a fee waiver. The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.
In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.
