Dear Ms. Smathers,

This is in response to your Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request,
as stated below. Your request was received in this office and assigned
FOIA case number 12-F-1090.

Please note that this office only processes FOIA requests for records
related to the Office of Secretary of Defense and the Joint Staff
(OSD/JS). There is no central FOIA processing point for the entire
Federal Government or for the entire Department of Defense (DoD). Each
DoD component and service is responsible for processing FOIA requests
for records related to their organization. I am not aware of a nexus or
connection between the requested information and this office. As
stated, your request is not reasonably described to support further
processing and is thus not a proper FOIA request.

This action closes your request.

Respectfully,
