To Whom It May Concern:
This is a request under the Freedom of Information Act. I hereby request the following records:
All emails, memos and other correspondence/communications sent or received by staffers in the DHS Privacy Office, including but not limited to Mia Day, on May 1 and May 2, 2014 that include the following keywords:
I also request that, if appropriate, fees be waived as I believe this request is in the public interest. The requested documents will be made available to the general public free of charge as part of the public information service at MuckRock.com, processed by a representative of the news media/press and is made in the process of news gathering and not for commercial usage.
In the event that fees cannot be waived, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.
Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 20 business days, as the statute requires.
Hi Maura -
I had also submitted this similar request last week, which has not yet been acknowledged. I'm willing to combine into 2014-HQFO-00492 if that makes things easier.
480 was closed yesterday.
Please send your emails on matters like this to our FOIA inbox so our managers can assign.
Apologies for any confusion. Like 2014 HQFO-00492, this is a separate FOIA for DHS Privacy Office staff emails surrounding FOIA 480. Given its similarity to 2014 HQFO-00492 and since your office has not assigned it a tracking number yet (or not provided me one, at least), I am offering to combine the keyword here into the search as part of 2014 HQFO-00492.
