Dear Ms. McCammon,

Thank you for submitting your Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request, and I sincerely apologize for the delay in our response.

As state below, you ask for copies of "all tweets deleted by the U.S. Advisory Council on Historic Preservation's Twitter feed (@usachp) from November 2012 to the present. This would include any tweets sent out on Twitter that were deleted or kept in draft form from the Twitter account @usachp. This request also would include copies of any e-mails or correspondence regarding the drafting and deletion of these tweets."

Since the Advisory Council on Historic Preservation (ACHP) initiated its Twitter account in November 2012, we have not deleted any tweets. You should be able to view all the tweets presented on our feed at this url: https://twitter.com/usachp. We have posted a total of 675 tweets and any response to a tweet should also be visible. We do not have any emails or correspondence regarding the drafting of deleted tweets or regarding the deletion of tweets. Therefore, the requested records do not exist.

This email concludes our response to this FOIA request. You have the right to appeal this FOIA response. You may appeal it within 90 calendar days after receiving this email. An appeal must be made in writing and include a description of the initial request, the reason for the appeal, and why you believe our response is incorrect. The appeal must be signed and clearly marked “FREEDOM OF INFORMATION ACT APPEAL.” Requests that are not so marked will be honored, but will be deemed not to have been received by the ACHP, for purposes of computing the response time, until the date on which they are identified by a member of the ACHP staff as being an appeal pursuant to the FOIA. Appeals must be sent to the Executive Director, Advisory Council on Historic Preservation, 401 F Street NW, Suite 308, Washington, DC 20001-2637. An appeal may also be sent by email to kfanizzo@achp.gov, or by facsimile to (202) 517-6381.

The appeal will be acted upon within 20 working days of receipt. A written decision will be issued. If no decision has been issued within this 20 working day period, you will be deemed to have exhausted your administrative remedies. Assistance is also available from the ACHP's FOIA Public Liaison and dispute resolution services are offered by the Office of Government Information Services.
