To Whom It May Concern:
Pursuant to the Freedom of Information Act, I hereby request the following records:
All calendar entries from January 2022 to the present reflecting any meeting, call, or other event attended or hosted by the ICE FOIA Office or ICE headquarters personnel regarding efforts to reduce the agency’s FOIA backlog.
The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.
In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.
Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 20 business days, as the statute requires.
We wanted to follow up to see if we could get some further clarification so we can possibly narrow down your search a little bit. Would it be possible to limit your search to specific ICE FOIA personnel? If you have the names of individuals that you want the calendar entries on that would be helpful. Any other way you think you could narrow down your request would allow us to better assist you with this FOIA request.
I’m willing to provide names on the condition that if additional names of officials who were involved in these meetings are discovered, ICE FOIA will follow up on those leads. Only you will know this, because of b6b7C, unless they’re high-level officials. So you’ll have to be open about it with us following the initial search results.
If ICE agrees to this I would like Catrina Pavlik-Keenan and Fernando Pinheiro’s calendars searched initially.
