This is a request under the Freedom of Information Act. I hereby request the following records:

The most recent available database of approved and/or ongoing pipeline projects. Please include all available segregable data, including, but not limited to, the company soliciting approval for the project, the location of the project, all available location coordinates, GIS data, pipeline length, etc. If this information is available as a subset of other data, clarification can be provided.

This request is being made by a recognized member of the news media as part of a journalistic inquiry into the development of energy production in the United States, an issue of evergreen importance to the public. The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.

In the event that fees cannot be waived, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.

Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 20 business days, as the statute requires.

This document should include location and coordinates,etc. Please be advised that FERC does not require GIS data for the pipelines.
