From: Jenni Monet

To Whom It May Concern:

Pursuant to the Arizona Public Records, I hereby request the following records:

I am looking for police reports about vandalism that has occurred in the Rincon Heights Neighborhood of Tucson, AZ. I am specifically looking at cases that involve student residents who have retaliated against their neighbors for calling the police on them because of parties they were having.

The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.

In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.

Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I would request your response within five (5) business days.

Sincerely,

Jessica Acosta, CC: (Jenni Monet)

From: Tucson Police Department

Ms. Jessica Acosta & Ms. Jenni Monet

I was trying to process your request, but I need some clarification. Your request doesn't indicate how far back you want us to look for vandalism, i.e. property damage, that occurred in this neighborhood. If you can provide that information I can do the search for this neighborhood.

However, I will not be able to provide you with specific information on whether the property damage was done by a student and whether that act was done in retaliation of their neighbor calling the police. Our police reports do not specifically track that type of information. It may or may not be located in the narrative of the report. Once I get your time frame, and run the report, I will be better able to assess how long it will take to read each report to possibly get you the information you have requested.

Please get back to me as soon as you can.

Thank you

Thank you. If I could get reports about vandalism to property as well as any reports from loud parties/properties that have been red-tagged that would be helpful. Any reports from August of 2016 to today would be helpful.

Sincerely, Jessica Acosta

Hello, I have some more specific addresses that might help. I have asked neighbors and they have told me that the following addresses have been red-tagged by the Tucson Police Department. 1304 E 10th Street, Tucson 85719 and 50 N Mountain Ave, Tucson, 85719
Pursuant to the Arizona Public Records, I hereby request the following records:
I am looking for police reports about the red tags being placed on these properties in the Rincon Heights Neighborhood of Tucson, AZ. From what I have found out, this has occurred recently within the last year.
I would request your response within five (5) business days, or as soon as possible.

Ms. Acosta and Monet,
Attached is a spreadsheet of the addresses in the Rincon Heights neighborhood that received a Red Tag violation. If you want all 26 cases the minimum price is $135.00. Of course you can choose which cases, from the list, that you would like to receive.
Please confirm if you would like all the cases or specific cases.
