Pursuant to the Texas Public Information Act, I hereby request the following records:

I am requesting access to documents and records pertaining to Texas A&M's development of the TAM 1 and TAM 2 (or TAM I and TAM II) jalapeño. Recent reports show that Texas A&M University worked on these jalapenos: https://www.dmagazine.com/food-drink/2023/05/why-jalapeno-peppers-less-spicy-blame-aggies/

Specifically, I am interested in:

- Any communications, memos, emails, or letters about, mentioning, or pertaining to the development of the TAM 1 and/or TAM 2 or TAM 3 jalapeno (please search for "TAM 1" "TAM 2" "TAM I" and "TAM II," and "TAM III," and "TAM 3") as well as attachments
- Any photos or media about the jalapenos
- Any taste testing notes about TAM I and TAM II
- Any scientific reports about TAM I and TAM II

For all of these please search between Jan 1, 1982 and Jan 1, 1990. These documents are being used for reporting by 404 Media, an independent journalism outlet: 404media.co

The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.

In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.
