Pursuant to the Texas Public Information Act, I hereby request the following records:
I would like closed claims data for the years 2013-2017. Data for 2007-2012 appears at http://www.tdi.texas.gov/reports/report4.html#closed but I would like the most recent years/quarters available.
The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.
In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.
Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 10 business days, as the statute requires.

The Texas Department of Insurance (TDI) received your open records request dated March 6, 2018 regarding the aforementioned subject matter.
Closed claim data for years 2013-2015 is not yet available. Staff is still working on these reports please feel free to give our Data Service department a call at a later time to see if they are available yet at 512-676-6690.
TDI stopped collecting this data on December 31, 2015, because the Legislature repealed the statute that required TDI to collect this information.
