Data on incidents/crimes reported from 1/1/2009 through 12/31/2020. I am part of a public health research team that is seeking this information for research aimed at reducing violence.

Specifically we are looking for data on all incidents that fall under FBI UCR Part I and Part II [https://ucr.fbi.gov/crime-in-the-u.s/2011/crime-in-the-u.s.-2011/offense-definitions], including as many of the following fields as possible (based on the FBI UCR data elements shown at [https://www.fbi.gov/file-repository/ucr/ucr-2019-1-nibrs-technical-specification.pdf/view]):

We are requesting this data in a machine-readable format such as Excel spreadsheets or .csv files.

The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.

In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.

Hello Rachel,

I will be sending you information responsive to your request following this email via OneDrive. The data is in excel format and contains the following information: year of calls for service, report number, date, priority and final call type, primary unit, disposition, jurisdiction, and location. Without a case-by-case review of each call for service, and because the dispatched address in some calls for service may be confidential, the address number under the Location column has been removed from the City's response to your inquiry.

I will need some time to review the rest of 2020 data and anticipate to get them to you by next Thursday, 3/18/2021.
