Police Dispatches from Shotspotter Alerts + 911 Calls (Stockton Police Department)

To Whom It May Concern:

Pursuant to the California Public Records Act, I hereby request the following records:

1. All police dispatches due to Shotspotter alerts. Information should include the identifying ID to match with the Shotspotter alert, date/time received, description (if applicable), district/beat, and unit(s) dispatched.
2. All 911 calls to the police department of interest.

Please provide me with these public records in a machine-readable ASCII format, such as a CSV, SQL, TXT, or similar raw file. CSV or SQL files are preferred when available. Please email the responsive records to my email address: michaeltopper@ucsb.edu.

The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.

In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.

Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 10 calendar days, as the statute requires.

Thanks for the follow-up. Yes, I wanted to know, of those Shotspotter alerts/calls which of these resulted in a police dispatch to the location. If they all result in a dispatch, then I can make note of that and there's nothing more needed.
