Documentation listing all instances of crime involving the use of a firearm from June 2021 to March 2023.

I am a student at Tulane University conducting research. The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.

In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.

Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 20 business days, as the statute requires.

Dear Megan Roche,

We are not sure what records you are looking for, your request is too broad. Are you looking for police reports? And when you say "crime involving the use of a firearm" do you mean a gun was used during the crime (for example, someone was robbed at gunpoint) or the crime itself was a unlawful use of a weapons offense?
