South Miami Public Records Request

To City Clerk's Office:

Pursuant to Florida's Sunshine Law (Fla. Stat. secs. 119.01 to 119.15 (1995)), I hereby request the following records:

All electronic communication including attachments to/from Philip K. Stoddard, Robert Welsh, Gabriel Edmond, Josh Liebman, Walter Harris between representatives of Florida Power & Light, NextEra Energy, Duke Energy, Tampa Electric, Builders Association of South Florida.

The timeframe of this public records request is limited to May 1, 2017 through processing date of this request. Please note that this request includes emails sent or received on official government email accounts, as well as any other email accounts that have been used for official business.

I request a waiver of all fees for this request since the disclosure of the information I seek is not in my commercial interest, and is likely to contribute significantly to the public understanding of the operations and activities of the government. The organization I work for, the Energy & Policy Institute, is a clearinghouse of information and can qualify as a representative of the news media. There are several examples of public record requests that have been provided to my organization and that were then published on our website to inform the public.

In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.

Should you deny my request, please inform me in writing the basis for the denial. I would request your response within ten (10) business days.
