Pursuant to the City's Sunshine Ordinance, I hereby request the following records:
Recently the Department of Human Resources issued a revised Temporary Telecommuting Policy stating that City employees will no longer be permitted to telecommute from out of state starting on September 1, 2021, citing tax issues as the primary justification. I understand there is a document, or perhaps a series of documents, developed either by or for the City Controller's office discussing potential payroll or other related considerations that serve as a primary basis for this element of the temporary telecommuting policy revision. I respectfully request a copy of this document.
Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter.
I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 10 calendar days, as the statute requires.
