Dear Kristi Coale,

We are following up on your Sunshine Request S022521Coale for public records related to:

* any memos, emails, texts, and reports between officials from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development and Salvador Menjivar and other staff members of the San Francisco Department of Homelessness and Supportive Housing relating to a workshop/forensic audit of unspent federal money that took place sometime between September 1, 2020 and January 15, 2021.

However, we want to ensure the most efficient and prompt response. Your request is broad and responsive documents could potentially be in the hundreds. We would like to work with you to narrow your request in a manner that will provide the information you need.

Would you agree to narrow your request such as limiting the types of records sought to memos and reports including policy statements, presentations and notes, and excluding day to day texts and email correspondence, in order to provide the high level documents that relate to the workshop/forensic audit?

Please note that we are also invoking an extension of time to continue our response for up to 14 days under Government Code § 6253(c) and San Francisco Admin. Code § 67.25(b) in order to:

* Consult with another department or agency that has a substantial interest in the response to the request.
Due to the extension, we will respond by COB, on or before Monday, March 22, 2021.

Thank you,
HSH Sunshine
