Pursuant to the California Public Records Act, I hereby request the following records:
All documents announcing San Diego Sheriff's Department events scheduled between January 1, 2018 and January 11, 2024 at which media identification cards issued by the San Diego Police Department would be required for a member of the press to gain access, including but not limited to press conferences.
All written policies in effect between January 1, 2018 and January 11, 2024 regarding or relating to how the San Diego County Sheriff's Department uses or relies upon Media Identification cards issued by the San Diego Police Department, including but not limited to how Sheriff's Department personnel limit, control, or allow access to locations for individuals who hold a media card.
All written policies in effect between January 1, 2018 and January 11, 2024 regarding or relating to how the San Diego County Sheriff's Department uses or relies upon Media Identification cards issued by the San Diego Police Department to control access by members of the press to courthouses.
All written policies in effect between January 1, 2018 and January 11, 2024 regarding or relating to how the San Diego County Sheriff's Department uses or relies upon Media Identification cards issued by the San Diego Police Department to determine if individuals are permitted to use recording devices, cameras, or other electronic equipment in various locations including but not limited to public buildings and courthouses.
The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.
In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.
Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 10 calendar days, as the statute requires.
