Pursuant to the California Public Records Act, I hereby request the following records:

Any arrest records, video footage and criminal charges for an inmate awaiting trial named Nicolas Andrew Flores from January 2018 to October 2023.

The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.

In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.

Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 10 calendar days, as the statute requires.

Good morning,

With some exceptions, the criminal history of an individual is not releasable under the Public Records Act. California Penal Code sections 13300 through 13326 authorize the release of local summary criminal history information to the subject of the criminal history. Additionally, a local agency shall furnish local summary criminal history information to entities specifically identified by statute when needed through the course of their duties, provided that information is furnished to assist an agency, officer, or official of state or local government, a public utility, or any entity, in fulfilling employment, certification, or licensing duties.

The person making the decision to withhold the records is Lt Charles Lara.
