Pursuant to the California Public Records Act, I hereby request the following records.

Please provide all documents reflecting any attempts to comply, steps taken to comply, or progress made in complying with the terms and conditions of the April 12, 2019 settlement agreement between the City of Rancho Mirage on the one hand, and Veronica Juarez, Erik Munoz, Israel Gonzalez Paz, and Aura Marina Lopez on the other hand. This includes Rancho Mirage's attempted compliance with the paragraph entitled “Creation of Replacement Housing.”

This request includes, but is not limited to Documents reflecting Rancho Mirage’s actions in issuing building permits to commence construction of 126 affordable family dwelling units for moderate, low income and very low income families.”
I again request the City do a reasonable and diligent search, and produce all of the requested documents including:
1. From August 13, 2021 to the present, any requests for bids for construction of affordable housing to replace the 126 destroyed units
2. From August 13, 2021 to the present, all bids on construction of affordable housing to replace the 126 destroyed units
3. From August 13, 2021 to the present, the building permit which was issued to construct affordable housing at the Rancho Palms Mobile Home Park site to replace the 126 destroyed units
4. From August 13, 2021 to the present, communications between the City and Coachella Valley Housing Coalition from April 12, 2019 to the present concerning the development and building of the 126 destroyed units
5. From August 13, 2021 to the present, communications between the City and Habitat for Humanity from April 12, 2019 to the present concerning the development and building of the 126 destroyed units
6. From August 13, 2021 to the present, communications between the City and Palm Desert Development from April 12, 2019 to the present concerning the development and building of the 126 destroyed units
7. From August 13, 2021 to the present, all of the City's attempt to attract private sector development of the 126 replacement housing units.
8. From August 13, 2021 to the present, all of the City's actions to construct affordable housing from April 2019 to the present.
9. From August 13, 2021 to the present, any solicitations of private parties to purchase or consolidate vacant lots to build affordable housing.
10. From August 13, 2021 to the present, all investigations or reports which were reviewed by the City in its determination that the former Rancho Mirage Mobilehome Park would be the best place to put an affordable housing complex.

The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.
