Agency Roster (Pima County Sheriff)

Pursuant to the Arizona Public Records Law, I hereby request the following records:

Please provide records sufficient to show a current staff roster of all sworn employees with your agency.

Please include;
- first and last name of each employee with their corresponding;
- badge number
- employee identification number
- hire date
- rank or position
- assigned duty station/substation/precinct/location
- current salary

This request applies to ALL sworn Department employees, including those at substations.

The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.

In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.

Please consider this appeal of the fees assessed to this request. I understand that hundreds of law enforcement agencies have been able to fulfill a similar request without any associated fees. The purpose of my request is of significant public interest and non-profit.
Waiving the fees associated with this request would be in line with the spirit of the Freedom of Information Act.

I am willing to modify my request to help reduce the burden and any potential cost to your department. If your department maintains an existing electronic list of sworn officers, I would happily accept that list with reduced or alternate data fields. I am open to discussing any modifications that might facilitate the release of the information in the most cost-effective manner.
