Pursuant to the Florida Sunshine Law, I hereby request the following records:
1. Any police report, complaint (including by parents, students, citizens, or officials), or investigative records concerning the content of any books, materials, or events at a library. This includes any public library or school library.
2. Any photographs, videos, or other evidence/documents referenced in the report, complaint, or investigative records.
This request is limited to records generated on or after January 1, 2020.
The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.
In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.

Reference #: O346715-052523 Dear Adam Steinbaugh: In regards to your request, a preliminary review of our records determined that there are over 600 reports that mention “library”. In order to determine which reports are responsive to your request, each report must be retrieved and reviewed. It has been determined that it will take approximately 8 hours to complete the initial review. If you would like to proceed, we will require a 50% deposit of the initial total cost ($246.16). Once the reports are retrieved, they will have to be examined for any applicable statutory exemptions and redacted accordingly, which will require another fee. Please let us know if you would like to continue with your request or modify.
