Pursuant to the Illinois Freedom of Information Act., I hereby request the following records:

All emails which include Brian Strockis as either the sender, recipient, CCed, or BCCed from January 1, 2020 to November 10, 2023 and at least one of the following keywords: "Fusus", "Hexagon", "ShotSpotter", "Shot Spotter", "Axon" and/or "ALPR." Please include any variations that are not case sensitive. Please include all email attachments.

The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.

In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.

This letter is to advise you of the status of your Freedom of Information Request, wherein you inquired about obtaining copies of the above noted records. After checking with the corresponding department(s), it was determined this request will require additional time to fulfill.

Pursuant to Ordinance G-578 of the Village of Oak Brook’s Code of Ordinances and Section 140/3 (f) of Chapter 5 of the Illinois Compiled Statutes, compliance with such a request would be unduly burdensome for the Village of Oak Brook. Attempting to retrieve the records in question would involve considerable hours of manual retrieval that could compromise the ongoing operations of the Village of Oak Brook. Therefore, we ask your cooperation in narrowing the scope of your request to reduce it to manageable proportions. Please be advised that your request as written above rendered over 18,000 emails, therefore we ask that you narrow down your request to more manageable proportions. Please do not hesitate to reach out with questions or concerns.
