Pursuant to the Nevada Public Records Act, I hereby request the following records:

1. All agreements (in addition to any associated exhibits and amendments) related to this agency’s use of automated license plate readers (ALPRs), including but not limited to all contracts (related to purchase, use, sharing of equipment, sharing of data, and any other action related to the use of this technology), memoranda of understanding, intergovernmental services agreements, nondisclosure agreements, or any other agreements. Please provide all such materials for the period from January 1, 2018 through the date this request is processed.
2. All policies and training presentations regarding the use of ALPRs

3. Records/data showing the current number of fixed ALPR cameras
4. Records/data showing the current location of fixed ALPR cameras
5. Records/data showing the current number of mobile ALPR cameras (e.g. patrol car-mounted), including the areas where the patrol cars are assigned
6. Records/data showing the number of trailer-equipped ALPR cameras

Note: Regarding the second item, if this data is not available as a list or map, this information may appear in the names of the cameras.

Note: For the previous four items, the information appears on "Hit Ratio Reports" with Vigilant Solutions and Motorola Solutions ALPR systems. For Flock Safety ALPR systems, this data will only be available for the previous 30 days and may be available through the agency's "transparency portal." Please provide whatever time period is available.

*ALPR Data Sharing*

11. The list of agencies with which your agency shares and/or receives ALPR data and ALPR hotlists

Note: For the previous item, the information appears on "Data Sharing Reports" on Vigilant Solutions and Motorola Solutions ALPR system. For Flock Safety ALPR systems, this data may be available through the agency's "transparency portal."

The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.

In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.

Hello, Ms. Nicholson —

Thank you so much for your response to this request. You indicated that your agency has no records responsive to this request, but I'm hoping you could clarify the Nye County Sheriff's use of or access to ALPR technology. My understanding is that the Sheriff's Department has purchased ALPR units (please see the materials located here: (https://www.nyecountynv.gov/DocumentCenter/View/10254/Item11h?bidId=). Could you help me to understand this and the lack of responsive materials?

Those referenced on the attached agenda item, PIPS technology has been down for years and software not utilized.
