Norfolk, VA Public Employee Compensation Data

Pursuant to the Virginia Freedom of Information Act, I hereby request the following records:

Compensation data for all employees of the Norfolk, VA Police Department for the most recent year in which complete data are available (preferably 2020).

Specifically, I request that these data include, for each employee: Name, Job Title, Earnings (required), and age, gender, ethnicity, and hire date (if available).

The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.

In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.

I found your contact information listed on the City of Norfolk FOIA Records Center website and I am hoping you can help me with a request or direct me to the appropriate contact. I filed the request (copied at the end of this message) on May 5, 2021 and have followed up several times via email and left a message with Norfolk PD's public information office, but so far I have not received a response.
