From: ALEXANDER RICCIO

To Whom It May Concern:

Pursuant to the New York Freedom of Information Law, I hereby request the following records:

Records of any discussions, memos, or emails which mention "aerosols", "aerosol", "airborne", in context of COVID (aka, SARS-CoV-2). I wish to only include records since December 1, 2019.

I continue to appreciate the effort and the patience of the employees at the NYC DOHMH FOIL unit. I have attempted to narrow this request to be much much narrower, instead requesting a single topic instead of several. This should return *far* fewer than the 1.7 million returned by my earlier request. In the event that it returns an unreasonably large number of records please assist me in further narrowing them to a point where you can review and release them.

The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.

In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.

Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 5 business days, as the statute requires.

Sincerely,

ALEXANDER RICCIO

Hi Mr. Riccio:

My apologies for the delay. I have conducted a search for records based on the language you provided in this FOIL request. "aerosol" OR "airborne" AND COVID for the date range you provided resulted in over 700,000 potentially responsive items.

Could you please narrow the parameters of your request?

Many thanks,
Bernadette
