Pursuant to the New York Freedom of Information Law, I hereby request the following records:
Documentation on the usage of Chainalysis and/or Chainalysis' Reactor software in criminal investigations including:
- Memorandum(s) of Understanding
- Initial Bid Documents
- Requests for Proposals
- Any privacy impact assessments
- Any instructional materials or presentations
- Letters of Interest
- Usage policies
- Any informal agreements that reference Chainalysis or otherwise guide the use or the relationship between this agency and the software.
I am interested in any records from 1/2/20 to the time of the search.
I ask that any fees be waived as I am a journalist with CyberScoop.com, a national award-winning publication that is also recognized by the Senate Periodical Press. These documents will be made available to the public and are being requested for reporting not commercial purposes.
The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.
In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.
