Pursuant to the New York Freedom of Information Law, I hereby request the following records:

1. All "Report an Incident" data related to cannabis retail shops, licensing, and the Cannabis Social Equity Fund for the year 2023.

2. Documents outlining the licensing processes for cannabis retail shops, including the issuance of "conditional adult-use retail dispensary" licenses or "CAURDs."

3. Lawsuits filed against New York State's cannabis legalization and regulation efforts, as mentioned in the Times Union article dated Sep. 6, 2023.

Given the public interest in understanding how taxpayer funds are being used and the legal challenges that the state is facing, I request that the fees for this request be waived. If that is not possible, please inform me of any charges in advance.

Due to the time-sensitive nature of this information and its importance to ongoing public debates and legal challenges, I request that this FOIL request be expedited.

If the requested documents are stored in multiple locations or some parts of the request will take longer to fulfill, I request a rolling release of information.

The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.
