A preliminary estimate on the number of responsive emails to your expanded request is 30,000. SED charges the statutorily permitted fee of $.25 per page for duplication of records requested under FOIL. The cost for producing these records would be at least $7,500. Would you like to refine your search with additional search terms or narrow the search to specific individuals in the Department? If you wish to proceed with the expanded request, we will compile these emails and send you the final amount due.

I would like my request to include any email sent or received which contains the phrase "undocumented" within the past 12 months, specifically by the following individuals: Commissioner of Education MaryEllen Elia, Secretary of the Board Anthony Lofrumento, General Counsel Richard Trautwein, Executive Deputy Commissioner Beth Berlin, Communications Chief Dennis Tompkins, Deputy Commissioner of the Office of the Professions Douglas Lentivech, Deputy Commissioner of the Office of Adult Career & Cont. Education Services Kevin Smith, and Deputy Commissioner of Higher Education John D'Agati.
