Pursuant to the New York Freedom of Information Law, I hereby request the following records:
A copy of the source code for the "MYmta" Apps available for iOS and Android operating systems. If a version control system (for example, Git or CVS) was employed during development, I additionally request a complete copy of all version control history for the apps' source code.
I also request any contracts with third parties to develop or test on these applications, as well as any specifications for the apps' user interface or functionality intended to be referenced during the development of the application.
The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.
In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.
Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 5 business days, as the statute requires.

The NYS Metropolitan Transit Authority received a FOIL request. You requested:
"A copy of the source code for the "MYmta" Apps available for iOS and Android operating systems. If a version control system (for example, Git or CVS) was employed during development, I additionally request a complete copy of all version control history for the apps' source code. We are writing to acknowledge receipt of the above-referenced FOIL request. This is to advise you that we are in the process of reviewing our files for the records you requested and anticipate being able to furnish you with your response within thirty (30) business days. Access to any record requested will be determined in accordance with the Public Officers Law.
