I am requesting all email records from sent to, copied to, or sent by Aaron R. Fichtner, Ph.D., Commissioner, State of New Jersey, Department of Labor and Wordforce Development containing at least one of the following non-sensitive key-strings "whistleblower" or "laundering", from January 1, 2014 to Present Day.
The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.
In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.

Mr. Amarel - A search was conducted of the Department's email system using the parameters you provided in your request below. That search yielded approximately 600 emails, the vast majority of which were daily distributions to former Commissioner Fichtner and other Department employees of press clippings containing one or both of the search terms you had identified. That is, the search terms appear within the news stories being distributed by email and not within the body of any correspondence between former Commissioner Fichtner and any individual(s). Unless you indicate otherwise in reply to this email, I will presume that you do not wish for me to produce those emails in response to your government records request. The balance of the emails yielded by the search pertain to personnel matters, which are protected from disclosure under N.J.S.A. 47:1A-1.10.
