Pursuant to the Nevada Public Records Act, I hereby request the following records:
Quarterly electronic listings of all employees of the Nevada Executive Branch from January 1, 2019 to the present. Specifically, I am seeking electronic listings of all individuals employed within the offices of the Governor and Lieutenant Governor and all state agencies, commissions, and departments at four points in time per year from 2019 to the present.
For each quarterly listing, I’m seeking a spreadsheet, database, or delimited text file(s) — not paper records or a PDF created from data — with the following fields for each employee: full legal name, title, department or agency, race, gender, full-time/part-time status, hire date, termination date, and gross annual salary. If you cannot produce any of these fields, please let me know and continue generating the available variables.
If these data are not available at quarterly intervals, please produce the datasets at the most frequent interval possible. For example, if the data is not available quarterly, please produce the data at bi-annual intervals. If the data is not available at bi-annual intervals, please produce it at annual intervals.
In addition, please include any lookup tables that may be needed to interpret the data. For example, if departments are listed with codes linked to a separate table, I will be happy to join the records myself, rather than require your staff to do so.
I am comfortable working with large data sets and can receive the records in a variety of formats (.dbf, .csv, .mdb, etc).
The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.
In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.
Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 5 business days, as the statute requires.

The Nevada Department of Administration is in receipt of your public records request dated May 5, 2022, and found below. The department produces a state employee salary report on an annual, calendar-year basis, but not at a more frequent interval. Attached, please find such reports for the years 2019, 2020, and 2021 (our most recent report).
Our reports contain all but the following requested data field:
* Race and gender – Pursuant to NAC 284.718(1)(j)(4)<https://www.leg.state.nv.us/nac/nac-284.html#NAC284Sec718>, we are prohibited from releasing an employee’s race, ethnic identity or affiliation, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, genetic information, disability, or date of birth
To assist you in locating the specific data fields you are seeking, please refer to the following key:
* Full-time/part-time status – Column title “FTE%” 1=full-time, <1=part-time
* Hire date – Column title “CONT.SVC” Format=M/D/Y
* Termination date – Column title “TERM DT” Format=Y/M/D
* Gross annual salary – Column title “BASE SALARY” is base direct pay excluding overtime; Column title “BASE+OT AMT” is direct pay including overtime; Column title “TOTAL” includes direct pay, leave cash out, state’s share of retirement benefit cost, and state’s cost for other benefits
