Dear Mr. Farkas:

On April 30, 2019, the Department received your letter requesting documents pursuant to Nevada's Public Records Law. Due to the time involved in identifying, compiling and reviewing the documents you have requested and consulting with legal counsel regarding the release of the requested records, the Department is unable to make the records available by the end of the fifth business day from the date your request was received. Pursuant to NRS 239.0107(1)(c), the Department is notifying you of this fact, and it is letting you know it will have records responsive to your request compiled by May 17, 2019.

We do not anticipate this request will require extraordinary use of department resources or incur any fees. However, pursuant to NRS 239.055, the Department will notify you within 10 days if identifying and compiling the requested records will require the extraordinary use of personnel and/or technological resources. At that time, the Department will provide you with an estimate of the fee associated with that extraordinary use before preparing the requested information.

Please do not hesitate to contact me with any questions or concerns. Thank you.
