Pursuant to the Illinois Freedom of Information Act., I hereby request the following records:
Any and all written records (including but not limited to hard-copy documents, memos, emails, word processor documents, PDF documents, PowerPoint files, etc.) created, received, FWDed, CCed, or BCCed by any staff member or elected/appointed official of the Village of Niles between October 22, 2020 and the date this request is processed (inclusive of those dates) which contain one or more of the following words, terms, or phrases (case-insensitive):
-"blue lives matter"
-"blue lives"
-"thin blue line"
-"police lives matter"
-"all lives matter"
-"black lives matter"
-"BLM"
-"TBL"
The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.
In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.

Today, July 14, you have submitted 3 messages, two of which were duplicate indicating the following:

As per the Village response on Jan. 14, 2021:
We have enclosed copies of the documents that you requested. Please note the Village did its best to search documents given the parameters. On Jan. 4, 2021 you were given the opportunity to narrow down your request as it was overly burdensome. Therefore, at this point we have released documents relevant to your request, but they may or may not be all encompassing. At this time, we are closing your request. You may open a subsequent request if you so choose.
To address your question, in order to be more specific it would be helpful to our IT Department when a requester can narrow down specific dates versus a 2.5 months period where thousands of emails can be generated, as well as to/from email account for example: Email dated x from Northwestside Coalition to the Mayor.
Furthermore, your follow up message on today, July 14 indicated the following:
I wanted to follow up on the following Illinois Freedom of Information Act. request, copied below, and originally submitted on Dec. 30, 2020. Please let me know when I can expect to receive a response. You had assigned it reference number #20-585. Thanks for your help, and let me know if further clarification is needed.
The Village intends to follow up with you provided further clarification based on your request, it would be helpful if you gave more specifics on the email from November. What was the date of this email? To whom was it sent to?
Once you provide this information, the Village can search our records in order to fulfill your request.
