To Whom It May Concern:

Pursuant to Virginia Freedom of Information Act, I hereby request the following records:

I request documentation of all cases brought to court involving Special Conservators of the Peace (SCOPs). These may include but not be limited to:

-Cases where an SCOP was involved in the apprehension or arrest of a defendant or suspect
-Cases where an SCOP was implicated or accused of committing a crime (felony, misdemeanor, or infraction).

Please limit responses to those cases filed between 2012 and the date this request is processed.

The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.

In the event that fees cannot be waived, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.

Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 5 business days, as the statute requires.

Sincerely,

Carly Sitrin

To Whom It May Concern:
I can only search my criminal records by defendant's name.  I cannot search by occupation and therefore cannot provide the requested information.  If you know the defendant's name then the cost for the records would be .50 per page and $2 if you wish to have the document certified.  We do not waive the fees.
